Japan Spring (Painting by Meera)

Beloved friends,

as we are all globally affected by the present pandemic in different ways, it is also a good moment to stop and take a look inside. It is as if existence has pushed a pause button on the course of our lives and wants to wake us up.

This may be disturbing for some of us or rewarding. It all depends whether we can find an inner yes to this moment. It may be also a moment to connect with one another on a different level, even if this is not possible physically, it can be done energetically. So really we do not have to distance ourselves socially, only physically.

To support our efforts to go in and also to be connected, I have started to offer a free online meditation every Sunday that already many friends from around the world have joined on the last 4 Sundays. I will continue this offer for the time being. There are also many structured active meditations created by Osho that anyone can do accompanied by music that is available online (for example: Dynamic, Kundalini, Nadabrahma, Nataraj and many more).

Further I started to offer some online courses and classes, where we can share and can get support and personal insights. You find further information here:

All my plans including the opening of the Meera Art Museum (MAM) have to be postponed and hopefully can be picked up again at a later time.

I will end this short newsletter with a short quote from Osho and send you all my love and wishes and hope you can come out of this period more conscious and stronger than before

Svagito

Times of disaster make you aware of the reality as it is. It is always fragile; everybody is always in danger. Just in ordinary times you are fast asleep, so you don’t see it: you go on dreaming, imagining beautiful things for the coming days, for the future. But in moments when danger is imminent then suddenly you become aware that there may be no future, no tomorrow, that this is the only moment you have got.
So times of disaster are very revealing. They don’t bring anything new into the world; they simply make you aware of the world as it is – they wake you up. If you don’t understand this, you can go mad; if you understand this, you can become awakened. ….

The secret is, start living more fully, more totally. Be more alert so that you can find within yourself something that is unreachable by death. That is the only shelter, the only security, the only safety. And if you want to help your friends and family, let them become aware of this secret.
